Atriste of the month

We all originally met up last year at a Casa Maria's Jam Night, we all got on well together and enjoyed a similar type of music and thought it a good idea to form a band. We have since worked in various venues East of Malaga and one of our regular jobs is hosting the Monday nights at Casa Maria's.
We formed to play Blues music, Hendrix and Cream, but have now branched out to include popular music from the 60's and 70's including Stones, Free, Kinks and much more.

E - One Eleven

Recently formed, with members Jonnie, Jason, Howie and Alan providing a great variety of songs from the Mustang Sally to Van Morrison and with some rock 'n roll thrown in for good measure. Call Jason on 663 812 224

Jonnie & Howie

Both are long time Nerja residents and have played both solo and as parts of other bands, now together as a duo, they play a wide range of acoustic guitar accompanied songs from the Eagles to Cold Play. Available for regular gigs, private parties and bamitzva's. Call Howie on 639 561 202

Flip

Flip hails from the UK but now lives near Vinuela, but can be seen regularly all along the Costa and inland too, performing a wide range of musical styles for all tastes from country to rock n roll.

Originally from Wigan in Lancashire and has been here on the Costa Del Sol for six years. Michelle Jane has sung in England and Wales and lived in Ireland for a few years and worked there also.

The show is generally audience influenced, I tend to ask what they like, and what they want. Generally the feel of the show is to have a good time and to dance. Songs range from the late 50's up to 90's with a few more modern ones thrown in for the younger members of the audience.

Artists covered include Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Eva Cassidy, Ronan Keating, Patsy Cline, Cher, Gabrielle, The Drifters, Abba, Tom Jones, Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Englesias and many many more.

Michelle Jane includes many songs from popular film soundtracks that everyone knows and can dance or sing along too, these include :- Notting Hill, Something About Mary, Grease, Dirty Dancing, Stuart Little, Disney and more.

Overall a show that has something for everyone, including the Spanish, that covers a wide range of pop music from across the decades.

Irish born Berni and Fred are the consummate entertainers, with an absolutely huge repertoire of songs from country and western pop n rock, ballads, folk music and a lot of their own songs too. Ideal for that special function such as a wedding or anniversary you won't be disappointed with these talented musicians. Neil Philips

Blackpool born Neil has been treading the boards here in Nerja for what seems like ages. His act is a grand mix of old and new, and younger members of the audience love his comic characters. Jake the peg re-born!

Sandy Lawrence

Originally hailing from the centre of England, near Birmingham, Sandy has for almost two decades been living and working in Spain, wooing a variety of nationalities. Singing in five languages – English, Spanish, French, German and even Welsh.

Taking each show individually, Sandy determines what every situation requires. Every audience, therefore, receive a personal performance, as they surely deserve. Her repertoire consists of over 1000 songs – blue, jazz, standards, rock – pus a one hour Shirley Bassey tribute. Although Sandy's act appeals to a more mature audience, youngsters love and admire her too.

A young Spanish and English speaking artist for a real good time. Will make your special day unforgettable with all your favourites.

Sasha

Having lived and worked here for over ten years, Sasha is a veteran of the entertainment scene here, and also is a popular entertainer in her home town of Darwen (and pretty much most of Lancashire)

A great favourite with children as well as the "grown ups" her act includes some classic Cher and Tina Turner songs, in suitable dress and wigs too! Her repertoire is wide and varied with songs from Norah Jones to Madonna.
