The work was finished the week before the Worldcupfinal.
The Establishment decided quickly not to open it till after the final.
Afraid for some damages ?

Anyway, I was sitting their on a bench and I must say “nice work”.
Unfortunaly, four (4 !) days after opening, it was already looking ‘dirty’ (paper, rests of cigarets, dogshit, …).

drivers putting their cars half on street half on foothpad (sometimes completely on the foothpad).
People don’t know anymore where to drop their cars.

Today back home from Nerja after three nice weeks of worldchampionshipwinning, drinking lot of beers, enjoying the sun and the women on the beach and so on.
I always stay in Bajamar I (near Villa Flamenca).
Parking your car in that neighborhoud is becoming also big problem.
And more and more I saw

I note the latest entry on work on carabeo, I thought the work was completed, when we were out in Nerja in September 2009 we walked along and thought it looked lovely, and thought the work was completed, didn’t realise there was work still to do or was still being done!

Anyway, coming out for 10 days on 5 July, and hoping the volcano in Iceland has settled as Scottish airspace is still being affected by the ash!! the wind keeps blowing it our way, and still affecting flights on occasions coming in and out of Scotland – hope we get out!!
