Garden: Large Communal Garden Located just next to the Parador Hotel it really is hard to beat the Coronado for either location or facilities. Just 4 minutes walk to both the Beach and the Town centre and with up to a dozen restaurants and Tapas bars within 100 yards of the front gate in and around Calle Los Huertos and the old town. Yet for all that it is still a remarkably quite complex. Whilst the Coronado is one of Nerja’s older developments it has received a new lease of life in the past few years. New and additional lifts, 24-hour porter, new pool and showers and new kids pool and replanted garden have all contributed to making it one of Nerja’s better holiday locations. However it is the interior, which makes this apartment truly memorable. The entire apartment was been gutted and remodelled in April 2006 to a very high standard. It now sets a new benchmark in holiday apartments in the town. From the polished porcelain floors to the red leather couch, from its sleek fully integrated kitchen to its funky dining table, from its 9 foot high glass wall looking over the sea and mountains to its plasma screen TV and sound system this apartment just says “different”, and that’s before you look into the bathroom with extra large shower or the large bedroom with floor to ceiling wardrobes. Did we mention it has air-conditioning? All 1200 watts of it. How about Sky TV? It’s got the lot, everything that is to make this holiday memorable except a reason to leave at the end. Living room: Fantastically bright and spacious L-shaped living/dining area with full length floor to ceiling double glazed patio doors that draw in the sea and mountain views beyond. The room is smartly furnished with red leather sofa, plasma TV, glass dining table and tastefully accessorised. Kitchen: Off to the left is the ultra modern fully integrated kitchen with large fridge freezer and washing machine. Bathroom: The fully tiled bathroom comes complete with extra large shower and vanity sink unit. Bedroom: The large double bedroom can be dressed as a double twin or triple room and has ample built-in wardrobes.
Nearby: Calle Los Huertos is home to a dozen or more great restaurants. Some of the best Tapas Bars in Nerja (many of them free) are to be found in the narrow old streets directly behind The Coronado. The Town Centre, The Balcon de Europa and the restaurant filled streets of Pintada and Ferrandiz are a pleasant 4-minute stroll away as are the quieter Calahonda and Salon Beaches. The large and popular Burriana Beach with its restaurant lined promenade is just one or two minutes walk away.
