Cotobro beach

Just before the road drops down to Almunecar and on a left hand bend you will see a sign for Cotobro. This is the short cut down to the beach at the very west of Almunecar beach. No bars or restaurants but a lot less busy than the main beach in Almunecar.

We were there in August and it was relatively quiet, wheras the main beach was heaving.

A mixture of sand and pebbles, quite nice really, but just a few feet into the sea and there are big pebbles which can make it difficult to get in and out of the sea.
