Work started yesterday to repair El Chucho beach that had sand washed away quite badly in the spring. They are taking course gravel and rocks from the mouth of the Chillar and then I guess they might need a bucket or two of sand to cover it all up.
I have watched with great interest over a period of at least 15 years, the continued work trying to create a beach that never did exist. The workmen make the beach and the sea takes it away to where it wants it. King Canute springs to mind!
