The weekly fun Pub Quiz is proving to be very popular every Tues night from 9pm.
Ann has extended her wide selection of drinks to include Cork Dry Gin(the best
selling gin in Ireland), Koppelberg mixed berry Cider, very refreshing during the
hot summer) and Crabbies Ginger Beer which is proving to be  very popular choice.

Annie who is a seventeen year veteran of Nerja, opened her bar in June 2002 which as you can guess, has an Irish theme to suit the name and is one of the longest established Irish Bars in Nerja
The bar is slightly tucked away just off Calle Chaparil,  (going up from Torrecilla turn left at the bread shop and then next right). But with a Guinness and a Murphy’s sign and a pretty terrace outside, Annie’s Bar shouldn’t be too hard to spot.

Ann, Jan and Liz always welcome new customers and are delighted to see all the “old” and not so old regular faces as well.
Irish Annie’s serves all the top brands of beers and whiskeys and the draught Guinness is known to be the best in town
Annie’s also serves a wonderful Irish Coffee, using Irish Whisky and fresh cream.
(none of that Squirty stuff here!)
Annie’s also serves lovely freshly made sandwiches just like your mother used to make, on white or brown English bread with a full compliment of mustards and pickles.
And if that isn’t enough, Annie is now showing all major Irish sporting events available on RTE….including Gaelic football and Hurling. The main source of entertainment is conversation, whatever language you speak Live Irish music on Wednesday and Saturday nights from 9pm until midnight and the group always welcome other musicians and singers.
Nerja has become an extremely popular place for Irish weddings Annie’s has become well
established for hosting pre-wedding parties and food can be available if required,
as can any particular drinks you may require.Annie’s Bar has an outside terrace in a quiet pedestrianised Plaza with Fig trees and a grassed area, an ideal place for a drink in the cool of the evening or to enjoy a freshly made sandwich.
Open every day from 12 noon until late.Children are not allowed in the bar after 9pm (but are welcome on the terrace)
To keep the atmosphere a bit less ‘touristy’ Annie’s asks that ladies and gentlemen
do not dress as if they are on the beach. A t-shirt top is all it takes!
