Nerja Carnaval 2009

The weather stayed fine for the Nerja Carnival this year although  a bit grey and chilly the event was just as spectacular as ever. A years planning goes into the costumes and floats, and despite the local police threatening to nick anyone using supermarket trollies, peoples ingenuity still amazed.

My favourites were: Duff Man, Valida, and the transformers. Oh and the pope carrying out gay weddings!
