PGOU

The Plan General de Ordenación Urbana (PGOU) is on display at the Cultural centre in C/Granada until 8th of April. There are forms on hand for anyone who wishes to make an appointment to discuss any questions with council officials.
These plans have to be submitted to the regional government for approval.
The two areas probably of most interest are the proposed Marina and the development plan for El Playazo beach.
The location for the proposed marina is to the very west of El Playazo where the Ladera de Mar roundabout is.

On the pic for El Playazo the mauve triangle is earmarked as commercial,  as far back as the old E340 and the land directly above is residential.

Stark, Raving Bonkers. It ain’t broke so why fix it. I sincerely hope it never happens!

Why on earth are there plans for more building? The foundation stone has already been laid for a huge project at Fuente del Baden to include over 400 houses and a hotel!! Surely there are plenty of unsold houses available now, so why more?
As for Playazo beach, that should remain as an unspoilt area for those that wish to be away from the commercial areas.

Agree with Laslomas. It would be really good to leave Playazo looking more natural than the developed parts of the town, many of which look very good, but natural is a good alternative giving more choice and a feeling of just getting away from it all.

Madness!!!The reason people come to Nerja is to enjoy a unspoilt environment- There are still loads of houses to sell here. Playazo beach offers a real alternative to using the more built up areas.

    Ltes hope it never happens
