Los Romanes is one of the small white villages that overlook Lake Vinuela, Follow the signs from Velez Malaga to Casabermeca and the turn off is on your left. While the village itself is nothing startling ,the drive up is worth the view alone from Pepe's bar (disco pub Cadenas) A simple but friendly bar with drinks priced the way they used to be!

The sides of the valley are now dotted with white villas which are a bit of a blot on the landscape but try not to look at them and just enjoy the lake and mountain view.
