Cabo de Gata, Almeria Spain

After visiting the desert near Almeria I drove down to the coast to visit Lovely beach, huge salt flats with a bird reserve with a viewing station, only 2 bars and still very Spanish although there is massive development to the west towards Almeria. The lack of development here is because this area is a huge national park. The road is a dead end but worth driving up to the lighthouse to see the splendid rugged coast and clear bluey green sea.
