El Chucho
El Chucho beach links Torrecilla and El Playazo beaches and is sometimes a good place to sunbathe if the wind is blowing from the east as the headland where the old tower is offers some protection. Very pebbly.
A Massive development for a new paseo that took a year to complete was finished in November although the new paseo remained closed until mid December 09.

[...] All the evidence of the workmen has disapeared on El Chucho and the beach has been graded. The official opening of the paseo will be on Monday, scissors, ribbon and a lot of chest beating no doubt. There is no doubt that the new paseo has been very well done and opens almost a year after work started. You can see photographs from when the work started and throughtout the last year here
