This is the only way we can see Nerja nowadays. We first visited in 1987. We fell in love with this lovely quaint place and it`s people. We came back about 20 times, often twice a year. We have seen many changes, which is inevitable, nowhere stands still. My husband`s ill health means we can no longer visit, but we have our wonderful memories. Joan +Terry Durham

As a person who is potty about Nerja I’m really sorry that you can’t get there anymore, we won’t be going this year but have been around thirty times and it’s nice to know that you have those lovely memories.

Hi all ,,i lived in Nerja some years ago and i can tell you i had the time of my life there ,,i often wish i never came back to the UK . i met many good people there ,,i see they have made a lot of changes to the streets ,,,maybe too many changes ? .im planing to go back in june for my birthday ,,and carnt wait ,, i hope you all love this place as i do ,and i am looking forward to seeing my friends again ,,,big hugs and kisses to you all ,, paul.

We fly out to Nerja on 8th July for two weeks and I can’t wait, it will be our third visit and we both love the town. I keep having a quick peek at the webcam when I’m in work to keep me going.
will be leaving east mids at 7.15 in the morning to our place on tropicana back to heaven for 2 more super weeks bring it on

Can anyone tell me what the weather is like around Nerja in the winter months? This is the only area along Spain’s south coast that we haven’t explored. Could the weather here be nice enough in the winter to stop us from spending our winters in Tenerife now that we’ve retired? I hate flying and we could drive to Nerja! Thanks folks.

Nerja is indeed a very special place for a lot of people. My family and I are comimg again in july for the 20th plus time and although we are fortunate enough to be able to holiday at least twice a year one of those trips is always to Nerja. I have introduced several friends to Nerja and everyone fell in love with the place. Does anyone know of anybody who didn”t like it? Roll on july23rd.

Camera pictures not a sharp as they used to be, they have the look of an over exposed photograph if you know what I mean.

what has happend to the web cam ,?
Now this is real “anorak” stuff but at around 10pm UK time the webcam pictured the Riu carpark and all the cars were parked with the rear bumpers over the kerb instead of the front bumper. This is totally trivial of course,and doesn’t matter, but it is freakishly unusual.

Wow what a contrast this view is to the one that I am looking at now….Sitting in my office looking out at a grey and foggy sky. The only consolation is that I can sneak a look on here at what the weather is doing in Nerja and wish the time away till I am next out there. Just booked my New Year flights, cannot wait to get there and hopefully sit in some sunshine !!!

Hi everyone. I mailed earlier in the year about not being able to come to Nerja because of my husband,s poor health. Well sadly Terry died in October and I and some of our family are coming to scatter his ashes in early May. I know this is what he would have wanted. It was his favourite place for holidays. and some of his happiest memories were of Nerja. Joan Durham. Bolton

WHY IS THE WEBCAM DATE ALWAYS BACK TO FRONT ?
I find the reversed date disappointingly american too, but full marks for the extra viewpoint. I am trying to imagine where the camera is situated to provide the new view, I trust you are not risking life and limb scaling nearby trees?
