Cudeca counselling and drop in service.
Thanks to the Lions Club of Nerja, Cudeca will be operating a counselling and drop in service in Lions Club premises on Calle Granada nº 67 twice monthly on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month from 10am to 1pm
The first Friday session of the month will be manned by trained and professional counsellors from 10:00 to 12:00hrs, with back up from a number of volunteers who have had training from Cudeca to assist with a Drop in Service from 12:00 to 13:00hrs.
The second Friday session, is purely “drop in” for anyone requiring assistance from Cudeca and will be open from 10:00 through to 13:00hrs.
Cudeca is extremely appreciative to the Lions Club for allowing us the use of their premises free of charge. For more information and to make an appointment with the Councillor, please feel free to contact Susan Hannam on tel: 952 56 49 10.
Lions Club
The world’s largest, most active service club aims to give something back to their community. Meetings held every 1st and 3rd wednesday at 8.30 in their premises at 67 C/Granada, Nerja.
Move It! To Music
What we do: MOVE IT! TO MUSIC is a very gentle dance fitness class, especially created for those of us who have a tendency to let those exercise-free weeks slip into months and more … we know the importance of regular physical activity, but where’s the fun in it? Well, having fun with Move It! To Music is the number one priority, with easy moves set to the groovy tunes of the 70s and 80s. You are assured of a warm welcome, especially if you come alone.

Where we meet: People’s houses in Nerja
When we meet: Once or twice a week (Tue and Thu evening) December through February 2011.
The Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Club of Andalucia.
What we do:
1. Provide opportunities for Matriculated Members of the two Universities to meet and discuss matters of mutual interest.
2. Offer any help or assistance (additional to those provided by the host University) for students from Oxford or Cambridge undergoing a period of study at an Andalucian University, or for Spanish students similarly visiting Oxford or Cambridge.
3. Watch the Boat Race and inter-Varsity Rugby match via TV.
4. Arrange visits for Members to places of interest beyond the normal tourist trail and occasional luncheons with a guest speaker.

Profits will go to the ‘Love A Child Foundation who’s’ headquarters are in Nerja.

TRUMPS – A friendly group which meets for duplicate bridge. We aim to provide an
enjoyable game in the superb setting of the Al Andaluz Hotel ,Maro. We play on
Mondays and Fridays at 3.30pm. No membership is necessary; the cost is 3 euros per
