There are many many bars in Nerja, from a simple snack bar to ones that offer a full menu but still have an emphasis on the “bar” side of things. Sports bars too with Sky sports, pool tables and dart boards. English bars, Irish and Dutch bars.

Slightly hidden away little gem of a bar with a Jam session every Monday night. BBQ for 6.50 with live music every other Friday (alternating with a jam session each week). Coach and horses rides out, and great value food and drink. A great mix of nationalities make this a truly international bar. Outside terrace for barbecues in the summer months.  Annie’s Bar is the only Irish Bar in Nerja with an outside terrace in a quiet pedestrian Plaza with fig trees and grassed area, an ideal place for a drink in the cool of the evening or to enjoy a freshly made sandwich. Now showing all major Irish sporting events available on RTE….
Made to order sandwiches on white or wholemeal bread are always available. Children are not allowed in the bar after 9pm (but are welcome on the terrace)

La Entrada

Very recently opened (formerly Cuevasol) after a major refurbishment, La Entrada is at the entrance to Maro on the left hand side funnily enough. With a large south facing terrace with views to the sea and a large typically Spanish inside bar area and equally large dining area. The bar restaurant is run by two generations of the same family, Rocio and Jose and Jose’s sister Marca front of house and grandmother Maria in charge of the kitchen.
